The only way is forward: the renowned creative conference Forward Festival is entering the next round in 2024 with new dates and an expanded focus on artificial intelligence in four European cities. Having already celebrated great success in Berlin and Vienna, Amsterdam and Hamburg are also on the program as new venues this year.
With an impressive line-up of over 125 international speakers from various creative disciplines, the Forward Festival once again promises inspiration and exchange at the highest level. The renowned guests include personalities such as artist, designer and author Erik Kessels, New York designer Anna Kulachek, advertising legend and Jung von Matt founder Jean-Remy von Matt and many more.
The series of events thus follows on from a great conference year in 2023, which we last reported on here from Berlin.
Learning from the best
Particular emphasis will be placed on topics such as artificial intelligence, digital art, graphic design and photography. The talks and lectures will take an in-depth look at the role of AI in the creative industry, with renowned experts such as art director and Promt artist Mieke Haase and digital artist Shane Griffin providing exciting insights and discussions.
The integration of AI and new technologies into the creative landscape will take center stage at all four festivals, with innovative approaches and transformative ideas being presented and discussed. The Forward Festival 2024 thus promises not only inspiring insights, but also a forward-looking examination of the challenges and opportunities of the digital era for the creative industry.
At the first Forward event in Hamburg from April 25 to 26, former JUICE editor and author Davide Bortot, who has spent his entire professional life dealing with pop culture and creative strategies, will lead the program - so who better to moderate the trends of the music, design and creative scene?

The expansion of the festival to Amsterdam and the comeback in Hamburg underline the growth strategy of the Forward Festival. Amsterdam, as a thriving center of the creative scene, offers an ideal platform for the event, while Hamburg, with its diverse and vibrant culture, is eagerly awaiting the festival's return. The venue will be the centrally located Jupiter, a department store converted into an event space by the creative society directly at the central station, "Hamburg's creative planet with art, music, design and performances on six floors".
In addition to the lectures and talks, happenings such as exhibitions, side events and after parties will round off the Forward Festival program and ensure an unforgettable experience - after all, the conference series is known for good parties...
Building on the successes of previous years and expanding into new cities, Forward Festival continues its mission to unite the creative community, foster inspiration and push the boundaries of creativity.
